dash warning lights

i've got my mot due in 11 days now and i am aware that if your dash indicator and warning lights dont work then its a failure...

they work with my ignition on sometimes but never work when the engine is running :/

would new clocks fix the problem or will i have to have a look further into the world of electronics to find the cause of my problem ????

most places wont check dash bulbs ever.
the only ones they can check are the main beam and indicator lights as the others only come on if there is a problem.
also mine went through its last mot with the dash lights not working and nothing was said.


would golf clocks fit on the wiring in the rocco cos im sure liam will have a set of 2 pin clocks he can lend you,that way you can find out if it is the clocks at fault or the cars wiring.

they would fit in the hole lol but i dont no about the speedo as i've got an electronic sencor unlike the gold with a cable

and main light indicator verry slightly shows up and no indicator lights show up

the speedo on a golf is completely separate from the rest of the clocks.
might be worth taking yours out and seeing if golf ones are compatable

yer i'll give that a bash when i get a chance then hopefully it works then ..

fingers crossed after i've changed my brake servo and got a bulb i should be good for an mot

oh yer and get my window fixed :/

and a couple of exhaust clamps aswell.

no cuz got phone bill to pay and fuel to get to work and back for another 2 weeks

yer ino but i get paid on the 28th and i'm doing extra days this month again so i'll be sorted for the end of month

you should ask the bank for an overdraft,will give you the money for your mot and it gets paid back as soon as your paid with no interest.

cnt have 1 on my account and dont like overdrafts but it would help. i may have a look into it and see whats what on friday and pickle there brains

they should give you one now your working and have a steady income.and they only take a couple of moments to set up.

wel i'm back home thursday night so i'll pop to town in the morning then round to urs afterwards
