My 6N2 Gti

About the car:

Its just had the gearbox re-conditioned gearbox and a new clutch fitted. These have just less than 9 months warrenty left on it.

The car has 11 months MOT

New discs and pads all round, And three new Hubs.

The standard BBS RX-2 split's have been refurbished locally, With grey centres, polished lips, BBS centre caps and new stainless steel bolts and locking nuts.

The tyres are all good with great tread. 2 toyo's on front and 2 falkens on the back.

The car is on Fk coilovers, Its currently about 20mm from the bottom. When i fitted them i used fresh topmounts and bearings.

Dubmeister road legal pressed plates.

Rear view mirror has been checkered and ariel has been replaced with a mk6 item.

It has 124,000 miles on the clock, on a W-reg (2000)

De-badged and De-wipered.

Supplied with origional headunit and cd changer..
Currently the car is fitted with a Sony blutooth MEX-bt3600 headunit, JBL 6x9's (In boxes - Not parcel shelf) And a pretty tasty Vibe sub and amp combo.
Ideally i would be looking to keep these but would be prepared to sell with the car for a little extra.

Bad points:

Windscreen has about 6 chips in it, they are all small though and not in drivers view so didnt show up on MOT.

The Boot handle has some small corrosion on it, and the front nearside wing has a tiny dent in it, I have sourced a new wing though so shouldnt be a problem for much longer :rolleyes:

Hahaha! Ive never actually been up close to one.. So couldnt comment! Its coming up to winter though

best time to buy one mate, prices are lower when its cold! I may try and get mine out to a meet before it goes into hibernation for its new powerplant

Liam - I didnt bother as i could imagine the hate from it not being a golf on golfgti. Will give it a clean and take some pictures, then make a real advert for it and lob it up there

Ud be suprised how many non golfs are on golfgti mate

i'm on golf gti and the last time i checked i dont drive a golf so go for it as its a well used site so may be better off on there

ABS light has come on after dropping the car down another 20mm on the coils. Im expecting a wire has been pulled or somthing..
