as you all know i get wound up by him a hell of a lot. but today he has out done himself. apparently accorind to his wisdome. standard pads are better than red stuff, standard discs are better than drilled and grooved, standard bushes are better than polybushes and at the ring if you have pressed plates they can turn you away.
my discussion is on how the fuck is standard going to be better than uprated when round a track. how can standard brakes withstand heavybreaking when surely they fade quicker than my drilled and grooved discs.
i used to have green stuff pads + drilled discs, now that was alright brakkeing. now i have red stuff pads + drilled and grooved and it is loads better braking. also got green pads on the back and its so much better than standard, or is it just me and my lack of trackday knowledge.

did someone leave the stable door open cause all i can smell is

bullshit

uprated stuff is going to be better as you say liam, not sure on the pressed plates thing but they use the ring to test prototypes and they wont be running any plates so cant see them turning you away tbh

if the standard stuff is the best then why are factory racing cars using uprated parts over the amazing standards ?

ash this is my point exactly. if standard was so good, companys that produce such aftermarket parts would be out of business, brembo wouldnt be very good at suplying porshe with brakes if vw brakes were good enough.
on the ring part am not sure, were all organising to go in the summer of 2012, and apparently they check your seats and all that are safe, which i understand, but pressed german plates i dont understand. i havn't got them and nor will i have but its just somethink he was saying to this person also. the only reason car manurfacturers put there parts on over uprated are because of the cost, and if they put pollybushes on standard then they wouldnt need replacing, meaning profit margins are degreesed. its all abit strange that someone would say that standard is better but if had ever spoken to this person you'd probs think hes a dick.

OMFG more dh madness winding me up its stupid how he could even possibly think that standard is better and with the brake situation i say thank f*ck for drilled/grooved disks and red stuff pads cuz i'm sure many people (neg) would have been in a henge or 2 or up some ones arse without them..

yeh well with out my brakes i would have hit that biker the other day. poor bloke. hes a class a fucking nob though, who thinks he knows everything all because hes got a track car, if hes running standard parts i'll be shocked.

haha, very true, but let us stay on topic about all this. there is no way in hell standard parts perform as good as uprated parts, or as ash said, race cars would be left standard. its just plain obvious that if it breaks uprate it.

i cant even lock up my front wheels any more, could with green stuff pads though, haha, and martin yours get to glow red when you brake, haha

haha that i am as he must like you more than he does everyone els. we've all got better brakes which are obvously worse than oem parts, i cant beleave that the motor sport industry does not know this.
