Erm that isnt true, when your running on 13's you dont really want a too low profile anyway as the car will be sat even lower (if it is already lowered) also the fact that the lower the profile the worse the ride becomes. Go to the tyre section in the garage and have a look at some of the images in the tyre stretch link, this should help to answer you question and give you an idea on what you should be looking for when you get some nice alloys for yours

Re: Arguement i had
wider the tyre lower profile you get
but im guessing your on standard polo steels (4.1/2j) so you'll be using a 155 lowest profile you can get is 65

Re: Arguement i had
I've noticed a few wide 13s like superlights and wellers that have stretched tyres tend to have a profile no smaller than 55

Re: Arguement i had
imo 13" are too small for 6ns never get a decent stance
nice set of 15s helpers out, chassis notch and your onto a winner

krash thats not right. eddies gti is on 13s and thats awesome on stance with his low profile tyres. he just needs to wind the front end down a little more. and taking helpers out of coillies also can soften up the ride, depending on coillies so not always the best option. its all on how dedicated you are on having your car low

13"
15"
i just think imo that 15" looks better
as for handling 13s will give you more acceleration but lower top speed so engine will rev higher then it currently does

Ok i also got to admit that 15" looks loads better then those 13" but don't know if its the wheels i like or the size but i do like it.. im keeping an open mind... i also think the type of wheel of you choose determines what size you get thanks krash
