Krash's 6n

so after driving around in a 1L 12v corsa for a year i decided it was time to get something abit less chavy ?
so decided on a Polo, saw this on ebay for £700 pretty much rust free little underneath but nothing to cry about, arranged a test drive and the rest is history
when i bought it



a month later it looked like this


raceland coilovers, 16v rear lights, aero wipers, wolfsburg doorpins

then changed the lights again


bump strips came off and de-wipered then went to Scarborough for the weekend
cue rolling shots



then not much happened for a while part from a few stickers
had a bit of a shoot











old wheels where wrong centre bore and et so they had to go spacers and spinigot ring would sort it but i didn't like them tbh
so picked up some vw scala's for £40, put them on and wond her down some more and here's how it stands currently


not much more planned just thought id share as once it goes through its mot itle be up for sale to fund a 6n2 tdi

Spot on mate, really like my polo's been thinking about getting one for the misses so when you put yours up pm me i might be intrested. What style are those rear lights? How low have you taken it now? I do like the fact that you said you wanted to buy something not so chavy and then the polo with those o so lovely chav rear lights

Dont really know what it is but wasnt so sure about the colour but the more i look at it the more it is growing on me Hoow come yoour after a diesel one? Is for mpg or you planning on a remap and tunning so you have lots of torque or dropping a 1.8T into it as then you dont need to change the running gear etc etc

the rear lights are standard 6n2 ones bit of a faf to fit (switch plug around and change the wiring slightly)

and after a tdi cause i go to lincoln a lot so cheaper to run and lots of tuning potential 75-110bhp just from remap

Scala wheels look good on it, didn't expect that!

Thats a nice tidy polo not sure bout the coulor but least it stands out from the crowd and ur mileage is way lower them mine by like 80000

should of put a pic of it clean in the show section krash, be the 1st to do it and that mate. i think you should keep it just for the colour

but the advantages of a tdi just out way keeping this (tax, mpg, tuning potential) and remapped there only 15bhp less then a polo gti but with 60mpg and £35 road tax

well i see what your getting at there. you after a 6n2 on another 6n

6n2 1.4 tdi, best polo shape imo and scope for a pd130 transplant
i like the idea of planting my right foot lossing tailgaters cloud of diesal smoke

yeh mate thats the way it would seem

pluss u gotta love the torque you get from the turbo diesel engines no more having to drop it down a cog to over-take or in my case drop it down 2 cogs to get past any1 fast

so polos gone in for pre mot check to see if its worth getting done
tdi's are pretty hard to find so also been looking at 1.4 16v 6n2s
if its bad news ill be driving a Citroen untill i can afford the new car =[

noooo dont do it ash stay away from the french car

but had some good news and shouldnt be to expensive to put through mot, 3 brake lines on the rear passenger side and a spot of welding

yeah they usually end up being over done and ruin the car

Pistachio green, I like. If you do by some chance keep it I have a set on 6n 16v bumpers for sale. £80 as they are.

do they come with grills and splitter ?
may have to have them at the end of the month if you've still got them
