BCD revival!
Right then, not sure how many people will see this as this forum has obviously gone quiet of late....
But Gaz has handed the admin rights over to me, I've given access to Gary, and between us we're hoping to get this forum up and running and bigger than ever
So the plan is to get this moved over to a proper none freemake server, so that we appear in search results and we can be made more county-wide and as big as bomber county minis, seeing as everyone knows who they are!
We're already in the process of arranging a regular mid week, mid monthly meet at woodcocks after the epic turnout the other night.
We need to find a way of funding this as its not cheap, but will make a bigger and better forum with more members. We're not going to ask for membership fees as in my experience that only works with nationwide forums, and I wouldn't pay membership myself, so don't expect anyone else to.
If anyone has any suggestions regarding any of this feel free to let me or gary know, we want to involve you guys as its the members that make the forum!

Re: BCD revival!
I think the fact that in 3/4 days nobody has had any input just shows how dead this is.I think my original idea of just building a full new forum alongside this one, swapping the domain over and then bosh, hit it hard and get it out there.
Im popping to Woodcocks tomorrow to speak to Julie to see about a proper monthly mid week meet

Re: BCD revival!
i have been inactive on here since the creation of the facebook page really, or at least since i found the facebook page, plus it doesnt work very well on my phone.
what costs will be involved? can we sell advertising space? or ask for donations? i would have a wheels for sale ad and i am certain map-tech would have one too if costs were not too high
i also think we need to be careful with the location of the meets. its always been a bone of contention. Lincoln is good as it is reasonably central but there are a lot of people in grimsby for instance

Re: BCD revival!
Think the problem is the FB is so easy for people with smart phones. PEOPLE do not know about the forum at all, i have mates who are part of BCD fb page but had no idea about the forum.
