what a strange event

when i was sorting my arches out earlier a bloke stopped and said he couldn't help but notice i had a mk2 and a few mk2s seem to be at mine alot, any way to cut this short, turns out he has a 8v gti which he is building pluss another one he bought for spares, i have his number and am going to see if he has a rear axle for me, im also seeing what els he has that i can have, basically i'm going to build his car up as he was impressed with my 2 week build, and then am gunna take parts for helping hopefully, or i'll pay money if he doesn't want help, but how strange is it that the bloke has a mk2 and wanted to speak to me for ages but never saw me out and about.

That or he was reelig you a bullsh*it story and wanting too try and get a closer look at neg and what else you have on offer? He is going to rob you blind, only joking mate Strange though that you have never come across him before. Did you tell him about the club and the meet we have on sunday?

al tell him tomorow, while am seeing what parts i can get, martin wants the front breaks and a rear disc conversion, and i only need the axle. so we're benifitting from all of this, he has small bumpers so i might get them, with the gti splitter aswell, and its tornado red so i can get a belly pan aswell. im not sure though, might see if martin and me can pop up there to see what exactly he has, nige and jim need interier parts to fflock or do somats with so lots of parts could be shifted pretty quickly.

Defo lets us all know what sort of parts he has up for grabs as i might be intreseted in having some stuff just as spares.

I will be trying to get then ordered this week but it is not likely that i have them in time foor the meet as my mate is a little busy.

not fussed when they are mate, its for my gti rear screen any way, and maybe some on the front. not putting any on bodywork as its all getting sprayed in the summer, top secret project though, 3 weeks before skeg vegas mate, massive overhaul, and will be revealled at skegg

i have just decided that my avitar is a golf thats lowered but is still too high, not happy now. nearly took a pic of my sump from the floor but then decided i have enough clearence as long as a stone doesnt roll under my bumper, that could be deadly
