New car at the weekend.

Just secured a mk3 5 door 1.9 non turbo diesel for the mrs. Rock and indeed roll.

Its done 140k, taxed and tested but tatty and all the bleed nipples have snapped on the brakes.

50mpg and 205 pounds. Well chuffed.

That's very likely to be honest. She wants the car matt black with a luftwaffe cross same as yours. No other cross will do apparently.

It drive's pretty well for a 200 quid car. It has a comedy front wing- 2 welded together.

Going to get it on the road, let her drive it for a week. If she likes it then a mild drop and a paint job on the cheap. If she doesnt like it then a tidy up and back on ebay.

She better like it though!

yeh the cross catches on, mild drop on 15s on a mk3 is like 80mm though. damn mk3s, maybe settle for a 60.

o if she likes it and wants a cross doing al do it on the bonnet, have to be the same colour as the stealies or red though on a matt black car. pluss she will like it cos its not your mk2 LOL

its her car. i think if it is matt then it'll probably look ok. not like when you see these stupid pink new nini's. plus it'll be lowish with some decent wheels. it could work.

how much is graffiti paint? is it matt? i'd need 10 cans i suspect, minimum.

i might just try flatting the red off first. did that on a beelte years ago. beautiful shiney paint and me and a mate attacked it with 400 wet and dry then painted grey primer racing stripes over it. looked well hard.

ask dan monday on golfgti where he gets his stuff from, am sure he'll point you in the right direction

He gets his stuff from graff-city.com but its expensive delivery. The only reason he can afford it is because he orders it in bulk with his mate who is a graffiti artist so they split postage/ he gets it for free if its only a can or two

I gave it a good clean last night and it actually scrubs up reasonably well so may just try and tidy it. Certainly for the time being
