January Meet 2011

Ok so i have decided that our next meet will be held at the following details:

Date: Sunday 30th Jan
Time: 2pm
Location: The Pride Of Lincoln
Whisby Road
Lincoln
LN6 3QZ

If anyone has a problem with this then let me know and we can change the time and maybe the location but this location is at the request of a few of you wanting it to be here. I am sure that this meet will be just as good as the last one and i hope for a good turn out again. The car park to this pub is huge so there will be no fighting for good spaces. I know this pub well and also the manager so i will contact them and see if they car lay on some finger food for us? smiley If any of you want to have something a bit more filling to eat then this pub does offer a good selection of hot and cold food.

well ummm i rekons al still be there, depends on the money situation though. might just go and spend the time on bike carb set up

sounds good, will just have to wait till a bit near cause of my house move n stuff... but if all goes smoothly ill roll up in the bug

i'll see a little closer to the time. might be selling neg when the carbs are on anyway and getting something abit more sensible than a crazy fast 16valve

somats that doesnt top out down the a16. i took it for a drive today with my foot down out of a junction spinning and it wasnt getting grip. was just not liking the speed ne moor. thinking of a low litre or diesel and leaving it how it is. with the carbs it'll piss 200bhp and that is not a good thought for me. i'll dyno it b4 hand just to see exactly how much power there is under that bonnet

well this is even more of an excuss to get it to the meet as it might be one of the last ones for Neg

yeh spose mate. al have a think over the next few weeks to c what am feeling like. i just need to find the spak me n neg had, just feel like ive taken him as far as i can and its upto some els now to do what they feel is needed next. i think its more to do with not having the funds spare to push into the engine. mk1 seems to be off the cards as well thats pissed me off slightly but then if the money comes round al def be back with a dub in the shape of a mk1. where bouts in lincoln is this meet ne way?

I know how yoou feel mate as iv been there too with some of my cars, i.e my silver alfa cost me a small fortune

i'll see how the fuelling changes with the bike carbs. if its better then al be happy. just been reading up and learnt some nice gains are to be had. had can set em for up end power or low end power. hmmmmmmm. i think top end as it dies a little bit at 130mph
