Golf Mk2 K&N Panel Filters

Leftovers from my Mk2's - K&N panel filters as follows:
1 x Panel filter for 1600 & 1800 carb engines £10

2 x Panel filter for 1800 GTi 8v (PB Digifant) and later 16v £20 each


All have been cleaned with proper K&N cleaner and just require re-oiling.

sorry but, when you say 're-oiled' what do you mean?

Thought an air filter had to be clean and dry, not oily?

Interested in the 1.8 pb digifant one if I can get it oiled?

if u oil an air filter with propper filter oil then it trapps in all the small dusk particles that can sneek past the filter but a dry air filter will let some in

K&N, Pipercross etc performance filters have a light oil sprayed onto them to trap the dirt.
I have the oil and can oil the filter before supplying (or a K&N cleaning kit is about £10 off ebay).

hey up mate are the 1800 gti filters still for sale? If so would you be coming to the next meet as farely intrested in one of them? I prosume the 1800 gti airbox and filter is the same size as the g60 8v engine?

Yes, still got both 1800 filters.
Have just checked and the G60 filter is the same as the GTi one.

And have just checked and have nothing in the diary so should be at next meet so will bring em with me.
