bomber county minis

I can't help but notice how active the bomber county mini's are now the sun is shining again, and I can't help but think it would be awesome if we could arrange some kind of joint meet with them? Is anyone on their forum who can find out their meeting place?

I think a guy round round the corner from me is a member, im sure i have seen the sticker on his cooper. ill have a word with him.

i was on the way home from xsite in skegness today on the way to lincln and 12 minis went past me, the first one was SLAMMED with extended arches which must have been at least 10 inches wide either side. it looked mad.

i have a mini so could join up and have a ganders

plus it is a mini therfore a easy way into the forum and i could have a look around and see if they would do a joint meet some day

P.s IMO most older cars are facinating. i am all about VAG but would mind looking around a few mini's

some of them are madd! and Tbh lower than we can go..

I can stick the idea onto our forum/group email if any of you are interested in a joint run out somewhere. 11 minis are going out to IMM shortly all the way to switzerland (how many of you would make that haha) so would have to be later in the year, say July.
Also, I'm guessing some of you guys will be doing USC at santa pod, and surely a few of you have minis too?? I mean, who can actually resist a real classic
Anyway, hope to meet you guys sometime, where abouts do you meet.

i know of one member who has a mini and said he would join your site but hes a failure
i doubt anyone would be up for going to switzerland.
but a joint meet would be nice as it would be some more people might turn up,
also im sure more of us would have minis if they werent so expensive and didnt rot away at the first thought of damp.
not going to louth classic car show,its the same weekend as skegvegas.

They do rust, but hey, a car is only as good as the person looking after it, well apart from Prius's and Lancias, built with rust lol.
Came here as one of our members googled bomber county minis and found you, and I nearly bought VW campervan as a project when I got my whit mini, but for a project in similar condition to my mini(when I got it) I would have struggled pay less than a few grand, not £500 You can still get fair priced minis, and parts are mostly cheap, being british made! But, minis do require a lot of patience and a hell of an addiction lol.
Ohh, and when I get rich, and get my VW splitscreen campervan, I'll be popping round your way sometime. Do you meet at a set point and date, might pop along sometime

hello fellow mini owner i own a 1989 mini city thats undergoing a restoration with a mix of parts combining both vw and mini in one...

i was thinking about going on sunday but skegvagus on saturday i dont think i'll be making it tbh

cant trust some people
i think i will stick with the golf though minis are a bit small for me.

we meet on the last sunday of the month,check the shows events and club meets section for any upcoming meets,feel free to crash them with a few of your mini owning friends.

Got much to do on the mini then mate ?? and yes, all mini owners (most) but all bomber county minis are a good set of guys. I think we need to find an old (RAF ) airfield and have a top gear style Mini vs Dubs day!??? I think it'd be a great idea, but that's just me lol.

hav'nt got too much to do to the mini shell as it stands but then the fun begins with all the running gear as i'm not using mini running gear im im honest.... dont want to let too much on as its going to be a low key build untill its done but it is an extreme budget build packed with fruity goodness combining two great cars into 1.....

Ever thought of using RAF Strubby nr. Woodthorpe? I think (its been a while since i went) it has a fair bit of runway left?
Because theres an aquatics place on it in one of the hangers, might be worth a look?
