who needs an engine conversion?

have not driven my gti for ages as the wife has been using it as her daily (it had been amusing getting texts from around the county "just seen your mrs driving your car" as if it was stolen oir i'd lost my mind lol)

I have been driving the 1.9de caddy. yesterday i jumped into the mk2 for a quick few miles.

my my, it feels like a different car! actually feels fast

so next time you think you are underpowered I will lend you a slow car and you will love your gti once more.

i like the theory dave but i've found something thats works beter for me

as i get sed to the power and i stops exciting me my car usually decides to break down or something of the kind so after its spent its time off the road being fixed when i get back in it seems fast again for the next few days

Good theory. I personally dont go over 3k for 2weeks. Then go full chat and then it feels fast again

I bet your slow caddy is faster than my gearboxless gti

i think mines fast and i go flat out every where,except whe i follow jord to a meet in which case i save loads of fuel.
