swap my early VR6 wheels for anything 5x100!

Right then, since I went low my tyres are far too big and causing me no end of problems! So I'm putting them up for swaps with pretty much anything 5x100 as long as they have good tyres and aren't balloons! A decent set of Longbeaches would do to be honest.
Mine are early VR6 BBS wheels with no centre caps, but all 4 tyres have 5-6mm left on them, rears are falkens, fronts are maxxis and a nexen. All 4 are 205/50 15s. The wheels could do with a refurb as all have peeling laquer, but theyre all round and balanced up.

So what you got? I'm in Lincoln, but I can't afford to go far at the moment.

Buy new tyres and sell the old ones to get some of the money back

I've chopped the front arch trims quite a lot and "rolled" them with the help of a large hammer, there really isn't much more I can do with them other than cut metal out and I'm not willing to do that. I don't really want to mess about buying tyres cuz I'l most likely end up with tyres sat around that I can't get rid of for ages and I don't want to refurb these anyway, I haven't got the paitience! Its just easier to swap them with some wheels that'l just fit and not try to tear my arches apart. And I want to go lower!

Most mk3a come wo that size tyre. Set the camber more in at the front topush front wheels in

I did that but the inside sidewalls were rubbing on the coilovers badly. The tyres really are just too big for me to go as low as I want to. I need anything 15-16" with no wider than 195 width tyres.

Jims running 205/45s on his anni wheels and his is lower than yours and doesnt scrup. Am runnin maxis on the front of mine and they seem wide. Tried swappin wheels round?

Tried swapping them too and its no different. I ran 17s on a vento really low once with 205s and never had this problem.

The anni wheels could possibly have a different offset? I think the offset on mine is ET43 or 48.

Cheers but I think I'm gonna stick with the swapsies if I can, I want to change them anyway, but for the meantime I'l raise the front slightly. If no-one has anything to offer then at the end of the month I'l just buy some new wheels. Been looking at 5x112 adaptors so I can run merc wheels or later dub wheels, as the options are greater and some merc wheels are cheap!
