both
cut them in half and glue one side of a twin lamp grill to the other side of the single light grill.
and have your own custom 3 lamp grill

I like it with the 2 headlights in but thats my opinion.
Also it's the cleanest non modified MK2 Golf i have ever seen!(and im not a fan of mk2's!)

Go for what was original on the car, as yours is standard and so immaculate from its looks, keep that going
