would be good if you could get it to rust

i thought i'd updated this but obviously not. wonder where that post went!

last week before the BCD meet i fitted a VR6 interior. Really comfortable and supportive seats now. I also handed liam a grinder and set him loose on the swage line. plan is to let it rust a bit then when i paint the car it will come through and hopefully look cool. i have mixed some rock salt with water to help speed things up










tomorrow will see all the whole car flatted back and possible the start of the paint.

hopefully swapping the headlights too

paint is on!









thanks to kai and ginner we got it all rollered on in about 2 hours. when it was done it looked a likkte too much so we added teh racing strips as a temporary touch and then used a BCD sticker as a stencil. Wheels have now been swapped for g60 steels in baby blue.

also measured the suspension against a standard gl and its only 35mm lower! gutted

I actually quite like the grey with the stripe and the stencil idea was a really great touch keep up the good rat work

G60s suit it, but it needs decking. Whats with the gti arches on the front?

they came with them - 1 1/2 of the front wings are gti. looking for cheap rears to match (and cover the rust!)

best touch is the bcd stencil imo,think i might steel this idea from you at some point in the future

Have a word with mitty on here, he has a mk3 he`s gonna scrap soon im sure the rear arch covers are in not bad condition.

I do have all arches/trim for a 5 door mk 3. Near side rear arch has a crack in it not that you can really tell. If you need any parts let me know. Whole car is available.
