What you think? For the Rocco...
I like these, but they are big money. You reckon theyd suit? Would the arches need work?

Re: What you think? For the Rocco...
D90s are well overdone imo. If you get the 7j ones I think they fit in the arches fine with the adaptors as they have a really low offset. Small and wide wheels are in now, it all depends on what you want. If you want similar wheels to D90s but without the scene tax of porsche rims, you could look at BBS estorils. I had these on my vento and they're not too common and suit older dubs. Heres a pic of them on my vento, but I refurbed them gloss white.

I've looked at estorils and castellets too and borbets and ats I don't know what to go for really! Like the idea of polished though.

Re: What you think? For the Rocco...
Estorils do look pretty awesome mirror polished, but sell for a premium. Castelettes are very similar but 14", which imo is a bit too small for the rocco.

Hmm, yeah after 15s ideally. Still keep getting drawn to the ATS cups, its just finding a set for a decent price.

They've been fetching silly money lately. I personally try to avoid vw stuff that attracts scene tax, but thats just me. My P slots will be available soon

Re: What you think? For the Rocco...
Im not 100% certain but mr Lewis1641 has these for sale and if my memory serves me rite they where on his mates mk1 not long ago and i thought they where D90's from a few yards back. They are also polished finish too but could do with a bit of a repolish but they are still in very good condition, anyway read the add and pm him.

Re: What you think? For the Rocco...
Yeah but i would say you couldnt go wrong for £180 plus the fact that if you put a bit of elbow grease in and polish them back up you will most likely double that price when you sell then in the show season?

Re: What you think? For the Rocco...
Interesting...how small could I go on the tyres. I'd like the look of them polished but not the huge tyres around them.

Check out the tyre stretch section, there is a link in there that will give you a good idea for 14's

Re: What you think? For the Rocco...
the wheels in the first post are not d90's - they are 928's.
kai/ash, my castellets are paintet, not polighed but they are forged so would polish easier than cast wheels.
the rocco with the castaletts - theose tyres look huge. 185/60/14 would give a "standard" look. mine have 155fronts and 165 rears and give some stretch although profile is 65 all round.
i think i would try and go for a 175/50/14 if anyone makes them

Re: What you think? For the Rocco...
Think he is asking too much for them, only cause i bought mine for £160, granted they need a refurb but that wouldnt cost much to do, the tyres on them in the link are not even that great ad are cheap. Its your car and so your call but that is over priced for standard looking ats with cheap tyres.
Offer him £350 for them, you can nearly buy brand new set for what he is asking?
What about these?
Already have good tyres on and need a slight refurb on the lips which i know a guy who can sort that cheap. Plus the fact the guy is starting them at £230 means that must be his lowest price, he also doest have much feedback yet as farely new so not many peeps might bid on them.
