februry meet

Good turm out despite the weather. Great to see such diversity in the cars and finally something aircooled!

Another day spent in great company Despite the down poor it was really nice to see such a wide range of mk 2s as well as some nice VAG cars, a totally custom Sunny and of course that fantasic air cooled beetle/army/softop thing

Got some pics despite the weather, sorry for poor quality of phone and this sites abilty to cut the last half inch of the right side of the pics

Hey, was a good meet once again, sorry didn't take any pics but Dave took a load so will be good to see his pics. Shame about the weather however it can only get better from now on so the next one should be good. Those wheels on that seat are awesome and really happy to see a bit of aircool rolling up too.
Anyway nice to see you all again, looking forward to the next meet. really like the pics tom but couldn't help notice that you didn't take any of mine

It was a good meet, shame about the rain though. On the way from brigg the wheather was so nice i had my sunroof open and then about 5 minuits after pulling up it poured with rain! Still enjoyed seeing all the cars, especially that air colled thing. The mk2 5 door with the roof rack looked well cool and i like what daves done to his lights. I would have liked to have seen that turbo mk2 but i had to head back.
looking forward to the next meet, lets hope the wheather's better!

Sorry I missed some of you, went to help my dad as my mum's mg zr wouldn't start. Ended up towing it back to broughton. K jet power!

Even we managed to miss the trekker after telling them the meet was on. Rolled up late after going to an 80th birthday lol!!
But have to say the trekker is an amazing vehicle. They are the strangest thing I have ever seen!

Good meet peeps, worth the 40 mile trip 2 see some nice mk2 golfs, shame it rained, after every1 left and i was enjoyin a nice cold pint the sun came back out lol

Sorry I had to leave early we were starvin and the pub was just too expensive and too busy. More people turned up than I thought but still wasn't as good as the turnout at the Lincoln meet

I was hoping for a few more to turn out like the lincoln meet but i dont think the weather helped, i am thinking that the next one will be a good meet. I have been talking to a couple of the guys at work and think they will be joining us at the next one, this will mean they will bring their track prep mk2 with them for you all to have a look around, having said that tom will get to look around it a lot sooner then the rest of you.

The Golf is in need of some TLC so has been taken off the road for a little bit of a tidy up before All Types!
It was a choice between the Ibiza and the standard A3. So I decided I wanted to take the Ibiza . I also think its the loudest diesel!! HAHA

that may be so mat,but me andalex and my missez were coming in from lincolc,well louth at around that time and im prity sure we pasd you,youv got a vw performance sticker on ya windscreen in white if i remember right

Sorry again about been so late but I assume that you can all see the problems I was facing from the moment I rolled in. Thankyou for the applause. For the record she got through 4 litres of oil today - not cool.

Looks like a small but happy turnout and hopefully next time it will be hotter and we can go for a massive meet (30+ cars). I am going to say that we have learnt that its probs a good idea to keep meets central rather than hitting up the north east massive

yer think the weather scared some people off but we really need to find somewere thats a good inbetween for every1 as ur never going to find a perfect place for every1 to be able to get to but its only the third meet so its not going bad at all

yeah it was a dhame about the weather it was lovely and sunny before the meet,would have been fine if we had done it earlier in the day.
