June 26 meet

Hi all, thaught id start this one off. havnt been on for a litle wile so appologies to evry1 for that.

Fair turn out and even farer weather. glad to have seen a few familiar faces and also put some faces to names

Enjoid the meet today but had to leave early unfortunatly, didnt even manage to get any pics eather but im sure some one did. im awating the pics took just as me and ben left, hope its a good one as had the car cleaned just befor i showd up!!!

i think we need a different location next time,might encourage more people to show up.

agree on heat wave lol, but where is there sun and shade with a big inough carpark?

cleethorps would have been nice in this weather but there wouldn't be enough space.
i think we need somewhere to escape the weather so somewhere with a place to go in doors.

i agree martin it was hot...

but we definately need somewere different as its getting boring now the same place every time its needs to be more varied and more people may be enclined to come.

been down cleethorpes today after the meet to pic the missez up from work and it was chokka......, was down seafront and that was well to bussy for my liking 2bh..... only place i can honestly think of for a day like today would be under the flyover where some of us used to meet up a few moons ago but im not sure evry1 would be up for that, i mean its not exactly ideal but your in the shade and greated with the breeze from the docs but apart from that there isnt any other real attraction apart from burger king round the corner

How about right up the end of the boating lake car park, near that train station cafe thing on the grass there? Might be worth a look?

i love jord's bumper mods. car of the day for me!!

as for location, if someone wants to organise something different for next month then feel free. but please bear in mind we are a lincolnshire group, not just grimsby.

I know only a few people have attended the last meets but the last one was a week before skeg, this one was the same day as a show. plus the heat. I dont htink the location is putting people off to be honest.

but like i say, stick a thread up, have a discussion and organise something.

i dont think its a bad location,but it would be nice to be able to go inside away from the sun.and it is getting repetitive.

I didnt go(never do as im always at bloody work) but the MK3 looks like car of the meet for me.......not that im biased about shiny black early mk3 Golfs

sorry people missed this 1 all tho i did c a few peps as i drive past the woods .i c sumthing going on thought i drop in on way back past but missed u all hopefully catch u all next time
