i think my chances of coming in my car are verry slim now as its not drive-able due to a hole in the bulkhead wer my clutch cable sed to be so may be tagging a lift there with someone

i heard about this happening to someone whilst camping and they repaired it with a fork. lasted years apparently

it went at the lights on the crossroads between wybers and willows and i got it back at my house now ta..

and lem there really is no rust its all clean edges wer its gone and its worse than i thaught i'l post pics up on my build thread in a second

buy the mk1 golf bulkhead repair panel from gsf!!! costs about £25 and it's self adhesive. you just undo the clutch cable and pop the panel over the hole. put the cable through and jobs a gud'un lol Mine went on my old mk1, bulkhead looked lovely when i bought it and it just pulled through with no warning!

cherz dude i made up a little repair pannel to weld in as it was free to do that and it works just fine now ta for the advice tho
