That would be good idea but ash is doing these for free at the mo so was just thinking about keeping it about this site? Do like the idea of the spaming vw world?????

wouldnt it be a better idea to do somthing mutual like i did on gyvw, then we arent pissing off others and can arrange meets to coincide and stuff?

Hey ladies, some of us lincolnshire watercooled boys (the ones who organised the meet at kelsey just before xmas) have just launched an official forum rather than clogging up golfgtiforum with all of our shit just thought some of you may be interested. BTW the next meet is at pride of lincoln on sunday at 2pm if any of you fancy it. I will not be attending though.

And before any of you ask, we are official.... we have stickers

p.s. this isnt some member robbing scheme I have plotted up, just about ten mk2 gti's on golfgtiforum from round here so we decided to have some fun, anyhow check it out!!

Well i was thinking about the facebook thing and trying to get that set up too so that we start marketing it on there loads as this will most likely pull a lot of fellow dubbers in.
I like the idea of putting something like what you have already done caistor as the last thing we need to do is start pissing off fellow forums sites.

you cant even get on wolds vw or whatever it is without signing up. Anyone here an active member who can tell em about the club and meet?

hi guys. not posted here for a while but i thought i'd mention this site to you.

my mate has organised a couple of meets based around lincoln. thought it would be cool if you guys fancied coming along to bolster up the numbers.

we are not wanting to steal members or step on any toes, he just did it as a bit of a breakaway from golfgti.co.uk and i dont think he knew you guys existed!

I think what you have done is spot on, well i am thinking that if we each have about 25-30 each in our gloveboxes then that should be enough. What about doing about 500???? Or would that be way too much?

Yeah get rid of the vw logo "o" and replace for normal, i would prefer them on card as it will look more professional, i dont mind paying you back for the card oor maybe buy you a drink at the meet

i agree on the vw 'o' being left out,other than that its a spot on job and card would probly be the best option,coz then it can be passed on if you know what i mean

Right...Tescos only have cream coloured card for some reason, will it be okay in cream or shall I take it back and look elsewhere?

Cream will be ok mate, at the end oof the day we just want to get the word out, as long as it isnt pink we will be fine

i had the regional head of www.vwt4forum.co.uk at my house yesterday. told him about BCD and he is going to pop by. he had mates in the area wuith dubs. i told him everyone welcome and he is talking about getting his little lot to join up at meets.
