flying saucer question
The flying saucer on my car has broken away from the rocker cover, Anyone know how I can get it to stay in its place temorarily till I can sort it proper? Its spitting oil vapour straight out the rocker cover now and I think its overfuelling because of it

Re: flying saucer question
I will get a new one but I need to use the car in the meantime, hence why I need a temporary solution. I might try sticking another bit of pipe thats tight in the rocker cover and attach the broken tube to that...

Just have to hope I've got some pipe that'l fit, I've got loads but I never have the size I need! I await the day you write "cunt" instead of "couldn't"

Re: flying saucer question
wel its a bit of a sketchy fix but if u have some pipe that abit 2 big u cud cut a thin strip from the length of the pipe and close it up to make is smaler in diameter

Re: flying saucer question
Already sorted it, found some thick coolant hose that fits on the flying saucer end perfect and with some persuasion it fits tightly in the hole on the rocker cover. Problem solved!
