help my mk2 golf gti 16v kr idles at 3 k

hay can any 1 help as my mk2 golf gti 16v is idlein at 3k well i say idle its more lyk reving at 3 k i think it has sumthing to do witgh the isv because if u pull the pipe to the metterin head off and plug them it runs ok can any 1 help its started to puzzel me now need help many thanx

Take off the isv and nuke it with carb cleaner, allow to dry and then try again. It gets gunked up and can get sticky thus, unable to adjust.

tryed that dude had it sokin in degreasser over night still no joy

Well.... sounds like the seals in it are fooked then. New ISV time

they like 170 brand new but manged to find a used 1 4 20 squids of ebay will give it a gud clean when it arives and hope it fixes the prob

Check vacuums r the right way aseellas it causes em to tik over higher
