one headlight is vag - its is the correct polo one. the other is ford.

thought i'd share some info on this car after the competition.

i found it for my sister a few years ago. took it for a test ride down a shitty potholed road and paid decent money for it not realising the front suspension was nack'd and the front wheels were egg shaped. really pissed off but we got it sorted.

my sister ran it for a good while but decided she wanted something newer so she bought a 1.0 corsa b. fool.

anyway i bought the polo off her as my wife had just written off her lovely saxo vtr that i's spent weeks putting a new engine in and getting on the road. she hated the way the car rode as the suspension was shot.

anyway i sold it to my mate. he replaced the dampers then a week later the clutch went. i felt pretty bad and offered to help pay and fit it. we struck a deal that he could keep my g60's that were fitted to it when it was sold.

he later replaced the front tyres and all 4 wheel bearings.

i am absolutely amazed at how hard he is on cars. 3 wheel bearings are rumbling again and the tyres are down to 3mm after 5000 miles!

sadly he hit an immovable object in the snow. he doesnt have a lot of cash, hence the front end. the first bodge was far better than the pic in the opening post. a lump of 4x2, the orion headlight and a mondeo parcel shelf!

i donated the audi bumper that i'd bought for the lower spoiler and he sectioned it down. bish bash bosh.

wow, he needs to rally cars, might have a nack for it.
