Re: Slim's Rado Turbo
was quietly suprised today as seing your car at the meet and seing it on the photo's is alot different as i really dint like them wheels on the car but when i saw it in real life my mind ws ottaly changed and i do quite like them they suit the car but they will never be borbets but are a worth while swap for the extra room under them and the lightness
p.s sounded SWEEEEET as when you puled off lincoln by-pass onto the piride

Re: Slim's Rado Turbo
Cheers dude, I think the wheels need to be seen to be appreciated although i do need some better pictures of them!
I've never heard how the car sounds from the outside, no ones alowed to drive it! Not even the missus

Re: Slim's Rado Turbo
Started assembling the parts for my new brake setup,
312mm Audi TT front discs and calipers. these will be a inbetween step, until I can afford th 323mm 4pot brembo's from a Leon Cupra R.
Stand by for the justification of my "they dont look as good as the borbet" wheels

Re: Slim's Rado Turbo
I'm back
Been proper busy with work recently so negleted my forum/VW duties somewhat.
Rado's still here and nothing has changed
Still have a shed full of big brakes to fit and with a couple of weeks off work coming up I should finally find the time to swap them over.

Re: Slim's Rado Turbo
I guess this is well over due an update. With my little'n growing up quick I hardly get time for forum action these days.
Well I managed to get the 312mm brakes fitted in July, and all was good.
But unfortunately I now work in Norfolk and the corrado is not really comfortable enough for that commute so it's for sale
Got someone coming to look at her on Saturday.
As a replacement I have this:
A 2003 Leon Cupra R. Already got a few nice mods but I'll stick a thread up for it.
