nope, the blue one is just needed for sections.
welding, rear aches, inner skin behind petrol filler neck, both front sections where idicators go through, sils and windscreen surround. and some unneeded holes in the bay sort of area. thats it i think. not too much work though

so will there be enough of the blue one left for a bbq
it does sound like quite alot needs replacing.

if not, neg will make a goodun

neg shall live on,as a bbq and possibly a trailer aswell.

cleaned it and not only that me, martin n ian decided to make a new backbox. haha. its a right p shooter tip. 2 1/4 inch to be exact

productive yet sad day for neg today....

we fitted a spring and damper set up today to get rid of the coilover set up and it was awkward to do but we got there in the end and neg is now riding high with nice level wishbones yet a stiff ride so will corner well without eating drive shafts and bottoming out... also picked up a nice 2litre bottom end for the new project mr H.....

BUT...... with some quiet please,
neg did die today and has gave up the ghost and is now stranded outside my house looking sorry for him-self as liam jumped in to move his car and nothing hapend clutch all the way up in reverse and just noise and no movement... the diff has let go after all these miles and many laffs in neg and it is now over for the time being.. a very wellknown and loved car wih alot to tell old faithfull neg has finaly let go but did in good will and went outside my house rather than on the rollers or on the way back from manchester....... comiserations please

and if any one knows of a spare gearbox laying around it would be verry helpful indeed to get neg back on the to finish off his last months on the road....

as liam has no internetn he asked me to write an update for him sooo...

the car that i have gine everywere in. it has taken me so many places and so many people know me for the car...

today at 8:34pm after fitting my springs and dampers the diff gave up the ghost. i have no wors to describe how gutted i am that my car is dead.

its been the best car i could of asked for and i will never forget the ups and downs of the project that i call neg.

its been great fun and now its time to move on.

There's a gearbox at 89 york road brigg you know.

will have to ring lemski as he dunt have no money to spare with having tax to pay and he will need some1 else to pik it up and drop it off at my house

i figured out the problem.
hes lifted the ride height and neg did not approve, he has refused to go any where in public for fear of being seen with that much clearance.
im sure it wont be difficult to sort out a new box,i have a driver box but i dont have the driveshafts for it anymore.

yer we thaught about that...

aswell as maybe neg comitted suicide as it was when the new 2 litre block was sat infront of the car and neg did not approve

its cos he know that as soon as liam has all the parts neg is getting replaced so hes making it more difficult for liam to go and get more parts

this is a verry goo theory but liam needs his car for work so screwed him over a bit really

yeah it does suck when you cant use your car,ive had far too much experiance of it.but im sure it wont take liam long to sort it out,and if any parts go missing overknight while its at your house then it wasnt me
