there is when it destroys wishbone bushes every 5mins and it'l never handle as well with upward facing wishbones. Been there and done that, I personally would rather have a car that functions at its best

yet mine still handles better now than it did at 60mm. and mine functions perfectly. antirollbar links need changing but that is it.

I'm ok with the height to be honest. I understand it night not handle as well as it could but i'm not really one for hammering down country lanes on a regular basis anymore.
Liam, can i make a good seat out of your pair? If so, wanna swap for driveshafts?

Re: budget 20 valve turbo build from page 5
av already got another set of driveshafts sourced which are stored for you dave, and you could indeed just use my bolsters and that mate.
but then my1.6driver bolsters would do for that sort of job, but txt me and we will sort somats out dave.

Re: budget 20 valve turbo build from page 5
good and bad news.
first the bad news, liam's seats that i was supposed to be buying tonight are the wrong cloth so the search continues. also my porsche wheels are rubbing on the arches like a good un.
the good news, liam sold me a scuttle pannel cover for a tenner and my porsche wheels are on!
as soon as i fitted them it was obvious there were going to be issues. i got the kitchen knives out and cut away at the plasitic arches. there's a suprising anount of room on the front but the offside rear is catching.
next step is to remove and refit the trim in the correct place. that will push the arch further out but also bring it lower down - might help, might not.
i am also 99% certain that i am going to lift the front to give it a very slightly nose down stance. according to the hotrod guys 3 degrees is about right!
alsoo i want to make this clear right here and now I HAVE STUCH A BOMBER COUNTY DUBS STICKER TO THE BOTTOM OF MY CHIN SPOILER. I DID IT FIRST!!!!
eat shit martin and liam!
